4. Connecting the GoPros

Always connect and disconnect in this order — it keeps USB detection and camera control reliable.

To connect (each camera)

1. Insert a (charged) battery.
2. Power the camera on.
3. Connect the USB cable to the PC.

Then, in the GUI, use the per-camera Connect buttons in the bottom bar. The indicator turns green when connected, and a standard set of settings is applied automatically (Linear lens, Hypersmooth off, etc.).

To disconnect (reverse order)

1. Disconnect in the GUI.
2. Unplug the USB cable.
3. Power the camera off.
